(KTVI)- According to the American Cancer Society, 50 percent of all cancers are skin cancer. And often, skin cancer is one of the least talked about.

The 3rd Annual Miles Against Melanoma Walk/5K Run helps to raise funds to fight melanoma skin cancer by increasing awareness, supporting patients, survivors and their families, and fundraising for research. This event will take place on Saturday, June 8 in Chesterfield, MO amphitheater.  Race day registration is $30.00.
